Yesterday was the day we had all been waiting for… waiting for months. Eden Hannah finally arrived home! To say we had a party at the airport doesn’t even do it justice. What a moment- friends, family & community all cheering together to welcome this sweet one we have prayed for. Now it feels like we can officially celebrate these beautiful adoptions and the many ways God worked in all of our lives to bring precious children into their forever families. I couldn’t be happier now that Eden Hannah is here. Rachel flew in to be here for the homecoming, Mandie Joy stood beside her capturing it all on film (thanks to her for the pictures in this post). Ali Rose and Eden Hannah truly seemed to remember one another and leaned in towards the other as if to say “It’s good to be with you again my friend.” When I woke up this morning the first thing I did was offer a prayer of thanksgiving, that Eden Hannah was in her nursery, in her house, with her family…. right where she belongs! To borrow from Mandie Joy’s blog:
Therefore the Lord waits to be gracious to you,
and therefore he exalts himself to show mercy to you.
For the Lord is a God of justice;
blessed are all those who wait for him.
We love you Doyle Family! So glad you are all together now 🙂
